We are proud to offer you our Handmade Woven Grass Bracelets, each of which has been handcrafted and fairly traded by the women of the Atacora region of West Africa. These finely woven bracelets look just as attractive after a month of steady use as they do upon initial purchase-- a tribute to the fine craftsmanship.
Wild Timuti straw rope was a traditional craft of this area, and the artisans have mastered the creation of sturdy products from woven grass. Virtually impossible to obtain outside of Africa, these fine bracelets are proof that the art has not been lost.
If bracelet is difficult to fit over hand, soap may help. Bracelet will shrink to fit once worn in water.
